BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5”

After 30 years and 5 generations, It's the time to celebrate the BMW M5!

BMW has presented the "BMW M5 30 Jahre M5", born to celebrate this birthday!
Externally there is the special paint "Frozen Dark Silver metallic" that accentuates the elegantly muscular forms of the BMW M5 and we can find some "special" aspects such as the black door handle inserts, twin exhaust tailpipes in chrome black and side grilles in black.










Internally there's a racing atmosphere. We find Alcantara everywhere: on the steering wheel, on the door panel and also the seats are in leather/Alcantara. The driver and front passenger will be greeted by “30 Jahre M5” lettering on the front door sill finishers, while a plaque bearing “30 Jahre M5” and “1/300” inscriptions in reference to the special edition’s limited 300-unit global production run is integrated into the Aluminium Trace trim strip on the front passenger side of the cabin. The “30 Jahre M5” logo is also embroidered into the backrests of all four of the high-performance sedan’s seats.










This special version of the M5 shows some news also under the hood. In fact, the 4.4 V8 now develops 600hp and 700Nm of torque thanks to a specific ECU repogrammation.
The "30 Jahre M5" is fitted with the Competition Package, already available for all M5s which includes a revised chassis set -up with firmer spring/damper tuning and a 10-millimetre drop in ride height, the Active M Differential, a more direct steering and and the M Dynamic Mode of the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) system is focused even more keenly on delivering sporty handling.
